The British Science Association (BSA) is a charity, founded in 1831, with a vision of a world where science is at the heart of culture and society.

The BSA aims to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges and shape our future for the better, promoting inclusivity in science, reach under-served audiences, and increase the number of people who are actively engaged and involved in science.

A new volunteer branch of the BSA in Orkney is being set up – we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers to be part of it! All will be invited to the Orkney branch launch at #skyranMOON on 14 September.

This is the perfect opportunity to get involved in organising innovative and exciting events to engage the public with science. If you’re interested, please click here to complete a form on the British Science Association website.

If filling in the form is too daunting, just email and let us know how you’d like to help.
